SHE…flies to the farthest
realm… where
truth lies hidden… Returning…It is
her shield… Separation…it is slain…
Here…true woman…warrioress
of truth…
finds the deepest secret in
dedication
to the farthest flight…
The story of
these two bronze sculpture:
In 2004, I was meditating one
night and in inner vision, I was lifted into another realm.
I beheld a Female Quetzalcoatl
(Christed being) dancing a dance of love in the Void.
Beauty unveiled. Seen and known
and felt.
The
feminine Quezalcoatl revealed a glimpse of her dance upon
the earth. SHE is both masculine and
feminine. SHE is of the earth and of the
sky. SHE is of the winged ones and the
serpent wisdom world. SHE lives where
seeming inner/outer do melt away to pure beinginess.
SHE lives ever in the place that is placeless.
And SHE does sing. And SHE does
dance. And SHE is illumined.
Not long after that I was
awakened in the night to the music of the spheres, which
opens in deep and silent moments. I
usually must be very still to hear this music of sublime
ecstacy. This night was different.
I was inspired to arise and walk out on my south
patio under the vast stars and moon. I
could still hear the inner music. I
allowed it to dance my naked body under the celestial
canopy. Peace already is.
Sometime later I was inspired
to create these two sculptured figures of that female
Quetzalcoatl who is the sacred winged serpent.
In western terms, she would be regarded as an
illumined being, a liberated one or a Christed figure. Love
manifest.
Another mystic serpent
experience came to me in the 80’s. In a
glimpse and for a moment, I was aware of all is love.
Ecstasy poured from me in ripples and waves out into
eternity. Waves of the eternal…as a
river into Infinity. Love reveals Itself
in many forms. This waking experience
was catalyzed by a dream of hundreds of serpents entering my
crown and entering my feet and journeying to my heart.
When they met in the heart from above and below,
great waves and waves of love flowed from out my heart and
the wisdom that is love filled my being.
Sculpture story from 1988:
In 1988, I began sculpting
ceremonial kachina sculptures. Many of
them ended up in large ceremonial cactus gardens with
plants, sticks, stones, feathers, crystals, found bones and
candles. The ceremonial gardens
represented our lives attuned to Source.
They reflected a simple, organic and natural life of living
ceremony…a life at one with the kingdoms and the elements
and at the same time close to the starry nights of this vast
and infinite universe. A life at One with Creator and
Creation! Creator AS creation.
No separation. All in the
mystical circle cactus gardens clearly were dancing as the
ONE.
